Ghazals....the fading art!

Ghazals...is my favorite form of music.I grew up listening ghazals as my mom and dad are big fan of ghazals,at that time I found it quite boring but as i grew up and started to understand the words it drew me far way from our bollywood or international songs.The fluidity in emotions and the depth of poetry can only be seen and justified in the Ghazals there is no other best way to describe your emotions.Bollywood once was ghazals based...but sadly now we have only munnis and sheilas to entertain us which is a total yuck!!!


Some people think that Ghazals are sad but it isn't...you have numbers of romantic one too ..which is far more ahead then our bollywood romance....even the feeling of longing and desire is well showed off only and only  in Ghazals...

The legendary singers like Jagjit singh,Talat aziz,Penaz Masani,Chitra singh,Runa laila.....and many more need more recognition in our new generation...I might sound boring but I really dont care about it...Ghazals will always be my first preference when it comes to music...

Just look at the words....the romantic one...

ye naram mulaayam thanDi hawaayeN, jab ghar se tumhaare guzre

tumhari khushboo churaayeN, mere

 ghar le aayen, kabhi yooN bhi to ho

 sooni har mehfil ho, koi na mere saath ho

aur tum aaO, kabhi yooN bhi to ho

 ye baadal aise TooT ke barse, mere dil ki tarah milne ko,

 tumhara dil bhi tarse, tum niklo ghar 

se, kabhi yooN bhi to ho

tanhaai ho dil do, boonde hoN barsaat ho aur tum aaO.

and even the sad ones.....

maiN bhool jaaoon tumhe, ab yahi munaasib hai
magar bhoolna bhi chaahoon to kis tarah bhoolooN
ke tum to fir bhi haqikat ho koi khwaab nahiN
yahan to dil ka ye aalam hai kyaa kahoon

And there are many many such good ones.....I really wish Ghazals once

again make an impact on music....its a pure rich form of art...

which is sadly fading away....

What a waste of time....

I recently finished reading a romantic novel....(though nothing at all was romantic in it),and ended up with loads of disappointment.I expected much from this piece of story,as the author of the book is none other then NICHOLAS SPARK....

The story started of really well making me enthusiastic for what will happen next but as the story started taking off,it became quite obvious to know what is it all about.I also found the writing too slow and quite boring.I have no other words to say but I will never suggest anybody to read this romantic novel (I still dont know why its romance novel...!!!)...ITS A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME....
