Don't we all crave for a happily ever after? We all want the future (no matter how uncertain it may be) to be perfect,right isn't it?
Our surroundings,almost all the movies, songs or even that fairy-tale book from your childhood, the climax usually ends up with happily ever after. Since childhood our brain had been trained to, that in the end everything falls into place.
But what about the practicality?
Ya I know I know..I should be positive, we get what we think etc etc. But honestly I don't believe in forever. If things really lasted forever you would still have been best friend with that girl/boy you had when you were just a kid.People change, they might not be the same person as they were when you met them.Yesterday whom you called your bae or your baby might be the person whom you really hate today, and the person whom you least expected to be friends with might become one of the most crucial part in your life.
Emotions feelings do change, its just human.
OK, first thing first.there's nothing wrong with cravings for the forever, for a happy ending. Of-course if you are in love with something you would want that thing to be with you forever,
In this lust of keeping that thing with you forever you start making compromises and adjustments.And in this process you forget about one thing, the present!!
The future is unpredictable, all the planning, compromises & adjustments can take a twisted turn by a single life changing event.One misunderstanding with your love, one mistake in your career, one fight with your best friend, one miscommunication between your friends can change everything you had.
Honestly I'm not saying that nobody will have a happily ever after, I pray and hope people get what they love, what they want, but in this lust of forever don't forget to enjoy the moment that we have today.
